Facing a lack of visual assets for user feedback, I designed a suite of illustrations to build the foundation of a new design system.
I focused on translating complex operational actions such as product dispatch, system errors, and success states into intuitive visual metaphors. This project filled a critical void, ensuring that the interface could communicate clearly and effectively with the user.
After defining the scope of the illustrations, I performed a deep dive into competitor solutions. By analyzing how industry leaders handle visual feedback and empty states, I was able to identify best practices and design patterns that would resonate most effectively with our target audience.
I began the creative process by sketching initial concepts for each defined state. These wireframe-level illustrations were reviewed and validated with the team through structured feedback sessions.
